AeroVision Canada Completes Flight of the ANAVIA HT-100 Block 1 in North America

HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA — AeroVision has successfully completed the flight of the ANAVIA HT-100 Block 1 in North America, a milestone that marks a meaningful step forward for the company and for the uncrewed aerial systems industry across the continent.

The flight took place recently in Halifax, Nova Scotia. For AeroVision, it represents the culmination of years of work building the operational framework required to bring a platform of this calibre to North American operators. AeroVision Canada also acknowledges the early efforts of SAIT CIRUS, whose academic professionals conducted foundational work with legacy versions of this aircraft, helping lay the groundwork for its arrival in North America. The Block 1 variant is based on the HT-100’s lineage of long-range, heavy-lift remotely piloted helicopter capabilities, with significant upgrades to its powertrain and avionics systems. It is purpose-built for the demands of defence, critical infrastructure, and public safety environments, and its arrival on North American soil opens a new chapter for what operators in these sectors can now access.
